EXO’s Sehun personally responds to false rumors about his alleged pregnant girlfriend, to take legal action to “end this right away”

South Korean pop band EXO’s Sehun has personally responded to the false rumors that claimed that the singer had a significant other who was currently pregnant. As shared by the Korean tabloid Soompi, an anonymous online post claimed to show Sehun's non-celebrity girlfriend's KakaoTalk profile picture, prompting rumors that she was pregnant. Another netizen claimed to have seen the singer at an OB-GYN clinic. The posts were later deleted.

Following the rumors, Sehun’s agency SM Entertainment issued an official statement on March 27 stating, “The rumors circulating online about Sehun are false and completely groundless. This is a definite criminal act of distributing malicious false information. Although the posts have been deleted, we are continuously monitoring [to figure out] the original poster as well as those who distribute the rumors. We will be taking strong legal action.”

On March 28, Sehun personally denied the rumors taking to his Instagram Stories and stated that he will “take legal action to end this right away.” He further noted, “My fans are also aware of this, but there is a woman who has been going around pretending to be my girlfriend for the past few years. She uploads posts and write on social media like we are in a relationship, and I knew about this because I heard about her.”

“I do not know her at all, but just letting it all go as an insignificant matter has caused this situation to blow up to this point,” Sehun firmly stated adding, “I am clearly stating that all the photos and posts circulating on the internet are not me.”
