The trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has fans excited. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails are back together to save the planet, with Jim Carrey returning as Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow. The film promises plenty of action and humor.

The excitement surrounding Jim Carrey’s return is building. The actor reprises his role as Dr. Ivo Robotnik and also plays Ivo’s 110-year-old grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, the engineer behind Shadow’s evil plans.

Talking about the challenge of playing both Robotniks, Carrey jokingly said, “Until I realized I was doing twice the work for the same pay. Next time they’re going to have to throw in a Chaos Emerald or two. But I had asked the universe for a kickass franchise that would endear itself to children everywhere and appeal to the child inside all of us. And blammo, here I am, right through the Sega wormhole.”
