In an exciting announcement, Lily Collins, who plays the titular character, revealed the news during an appearance on Good Morning America. The actress expressed her enthusiasm for exploring the continuation of Emily's relationship with Marcello, a captivating new character introduced in the previous season. “Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance,” she said. “We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition.
