The makers of Dune: Part Three unveiled the first look posters of its characters on Tuesday, offering a glimpse into the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi trilogy. Along with the visuals, the team also confirmed the film’s release date, setting it for December 18, 2026.
Led by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, the film has generated considerable attention following the release of the posters, which provide a closer look at the evolving world of Arrakis. The visuals were shared by Warner Bros., highlighting both returning characters and new additions to the ensemble.
One of the key developments is the addition of Robert Pattinson to the cast. He will portray Scytale, a character whose inclusion has sparked discussion among fans of the franchise. Actor Isaach de Bankolé has also joined the project and will be seen as Farok.

The film will see several cast members reprising their roles from the earlier instalments. Zendaya returns as Chani, while Rebecca Ferguson reprises Lady Jessica. The ensemble also includes Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, and Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan.
Dune: Part Three draws its narrative from Dune Messiah, written by Frank Herbert. The story is set approximately 12 years after the events of Dune: Part Two, continuing the arc of Paul Atreides and the shifting political landscape of the universe.
The film’s release is expected to coincide with Avengers: Doomsday, setting up a notable box office clash during the holiday season. As anticipation builds, the newly released posters mark the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign, offering audiences an early look at what lies ahead in the concluding instalment of the series.
