BTS’ Jimin drops first teaser for debut solo album FACE; see photo

Jimin, singer in the pop group BTS, has dropped the first teaser for his debut solo album FACE. The artist will release his first solo album FACE on March 24.

Jimin unveiled the first teaser photo on March 8 for his upcoming first solo album 'FACE,' which is scheduled to drop later this month. The dramatic black and white photo features Jimin walking out of a room draped in white.

The first set of concept photos for FACE will drop on March 10. FACE delves into Jimin’s story of fronting his true self and making a new leap forward as an artist. Through FACE, Jimin will present his own musicality with distinct timbre and impeccable dance performance.

Meanwhile, BTS earlier unveiled the track list and album cover for FACE in late February. The track list and album cover images display the album logo FACE in a shape of ripples on the surface of water. According to the track list, the album includes a pre-release track ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ and main track ‘Like Crazy,’ which will also be released in English version.

‘Set Me Free Pt.2,’ which will be pre-released on March 17, sings about his resolution to free himself from various emotions hidden deep inside him. The main track ‘Like Crazy’ is a synth pop song with intense synth sound and drum sound, upon which Jimin’s poignant timbre draws a beautiful distinction.

Jimin is joined by several producers and musicians including Pdogg, Supreme Boi, GHSTLOOP, EVAN, BLVSH, Chris James and BTS colleague RM — who participated in creating the album. Along with the track list, Jimin revealed a short video, Jimin Behind the ‘FACE,’ showing the creative process of his solo album.

The video shows Jimin concentrating on the recording of the album with enthusiasm. Upon the album release, Jimin will meet the fans through various activities.
