The Grammy-winning band Coldplay has officially announced its return to India in January 2025 as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. For fans, who have been eagerly waiting since their unforgettable 2016 Mumbai show, this is a thrilling moment that promises an epic experience. The band has announced the fourth date for India and will perform their largest Indian concert to date at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25, 2025. Before that, Coldplay will play three highly anticipated shows in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21 2025, at the renowned D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium. Tickets for these shows are set to go on sale on Saturday, November 16, at 12 pm IST.

The tour, which has been hailed as one of the most successful tours by a group in history, picked up the Favourite Touring Artist award at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

Coldplay's performances are celebrated not only for their music but for the immersive experiences they create with each concert. The India leg of the tour will feature a mesmerizing array of lasers, fireworks, LED wristbands, and dazzling pyrotechnics that have become a hallmark of the band's shows. Fans can expect an incredible setlist blending hits from their nominated album Music of the Spheres, along with the new singles 'We Pray' and 'feelslikeimfallinginlove' from their album Moon Music. Classic Coldplay anthems like 'Yellow', 'The Scientist', 'Clocks', 'Fix You', 'Viva La Vida', 'Paradise', 'A Sky Full of Stars', and 'Adventure of a Lifetime' will also make appearances, giving fans a chance to sing along to their favourite songs in an electrifying stadium atmosphere.
According to a press release from the band, the Music of the Spheres World Tour continues to push the boundaries of concert production, offering “dreamy, larger-than-life experiences that fans have come to expect from Coldplay.”
In keeping with their mission to ensure more fans can access the tour, Coldplay will be releasing a limited number of Infinity Tickets for the Indian shows. These tickets, priced at the local currency equivalent of €20 (around Rs. 2000) per ticket, will go on sale on Friday, November 22, 2024. As a unique offering for dedicated fans, Infinity Tickets are available only in pairs, with each purchaser limited to two tickets. They’re designed to offer fans affordable access to the show, though seating will be randomized. Fans will discover their seat locations only upon arriving at the box office on the day of the concert, with seats placed across the stadium, from the floor to upper-level and side-view seats.
