BLACKPINK meets French President Emmanuel Macron, First Lady Brigitte Macron, Tennis player Roger Federer and Footballer Neymar; see photos

South Korean pop sensation BLACKPINK recently met and greeted various global personalities at Le Gala des Pieces Jaunes charity concert.

On January 28, a pre-recorded version of the charity concert, organized by French first lady Brigitte Macron on January 25, was broadcast by France 2 channel. As reported by the Korean tabloid Soompi, at the charity concert, BLACKPINK performed ‘Pink Venom’ with world-renowned cellist Gautier Capuçon and also teamed up with the award-winning violinist Daniel Lozakovich to perform ‘Shut Down.’

“The proceeds from the ticket sales for this event and the entire fund raised by this concert will be donated to the French Hospital Foundation,” French first lady Brigitte Macron said. “It is very welcome to have BLACKPINK, who has great influence all over the world, to join us in such a meaningful event.” The band also greeted and got clicked with both the president of France Emmanuel Macron and French first lady Brigitte Macron.

The female band also got a chance to meet former professional tennis player Roger Federer who took to his Instagram on January 28 to share a picture. “My kids said this was a definite IG post,” he captioned the post. On January 25, BLACKPINK’s Lisa also took to Instagram to share a picture with soccer player Neymar in Paris.
