BIGBANG’s Taeyang debuts his comeback solo single “VIBE” featuring BTS’ Jimin; watch video

South Korean pop group BIGBANG’s Taeyang has made his long-awaited return as a solo artist and the song is a whole VIBE with BTS’ Jimin’s collab! the BIGBANG member released his new single “VIBE” featuring BTS’s Jimin on January 13. As Soompi notes, ‘VIBE’ was composed by TEDDY, KUSH, Vince, Taeyang, Jimin, and 24. The lyrics are written by Taeyang and Vince.

The 3-minute-long high-energy track is a blend of R&B and pop music and expresses the emotions felt within the “vibe” of a relationship. The track also marks the first collaboration between the BTS singer and the BIGBANG member.

This will also be Jimin’s second solo project outside of BTS; the first was an original soundtrack named ‘With You’ with Ha Sung Woon for the drama Our Blues.
