Barbie to return to theatres for IMAX re-release with exclusive post-credit footage

Fans of the hit film Barbie will have the chance to see it in a completely new way when it re-releases in IMAX theatres on September 22, 2023. The re-release will feature exclusive post-credit footage that has never been seen before.

The IMAX release of Barbie will be a truly immersive experience. The film was shot on digital cameras with a wider aspect ratio than traditional films, which means that it will fill the entire IMAX screen. This will give viewers a sense of being right in the middle of the action.

Barbie stars Margot Robbie as the iconic doll and Ryan Gosling as Ken. The film also features a star-studded cast that includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell. Written and directed by Gerwig, it was released on July 21.

Speaking of the business of the film, reportedly, Barbie has now surpassed Marvel’s Avengers and become the 11th top-earning film of all time in terms of domestic sales in the US.
