From the blockbuster cinematic legacy of Disney and Pixar, comes Inside Out 2 releasing on 14th June in English and Hindi - a relatable fun story for young adults and GenZ set in a new imaginative world of adventure, comedy and humour! With fans eagerly anticipating the release of the much-awaited sequel to 2015’s Oscar-winning Inside Out, here’s some great news for Indian audiences: Ananya Panday has given her voice for the lively teenager ‘Riley’ for the Hindi dubbed version of Inside Out 2! Voicing for ‘Riley’, the actress took to social media to announce the exciting association with a fun video!
Says Ananya Panday, “I have always been such a huge fan of Disney and Pixar animated films, these stories transport you to a world that is so entertaining and yet relatable at the same time. I remember being a teenager myself when I saw Inside Out a few years ago and being so mesmerized by this wonderful world of colourful emotions, never imagining in my wildest dreams that one day I would be an integral part of such a novel story! Voicing Riley made me relive so many of my childhood moments and this is definitely, the most fun I’ve had at work!"

This exciting news comes after a string of successful collaborations between Disney India and some of Bollywood's biggest names. We saw Kajol bring her charisma to Elastigirl in Incredibles 2, while Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra delivered the icy fun of Frozen 2's Elsa and Anna. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan captivated audiences as the powerful Maleficent in Mistress of Evil, and of course, Shah Rukh Khan lent his voice to The Lion King alongside Aryan Khan. And now, Ananya Panday is poised to join these ranks, much to the delight of her fans.
Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as Headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment show up.
The English voice cast includes Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Ayo Edebiri, Lilimar, Grace Lu, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, Paul Walter Hauser and Yvette Nicole Brown.
Inside Out 2 is directed by Kelsey Mann and releases in theatres on June 14, 2024, in English and Hindi.
