Amazon and Michael B. Jordan in talks to create Creed-verse spanning across film and TV following Creed III success

Following the recent success of Creed III, Amazon and Michael B. Jordan are reportedly in talks to create ‘Creed-verse' spanning across film and TV. According to Deadline, there have been meetings with franchise star and filmmaker about various Creed-related projects for the past year, as per the outlet’s sources. The report further noted that, “details are sketchy because some of the conversations are still in exploratory stages.”

Jordan previously told Deadline at the Creed III premiere that “building the Creed universe is something that I’m really excited about.” It is being reported that an anime series connected to the Rocky spinoff IP is in the works, and there are ideas for a companion live-action TV series.

There's also a potential project centering on Adonis Creed’s daughter Amara, played by deaf actress Mila Davis-Kent who marked her acting debut in Creed III. Then we have a Drago spinoff film in the works at MGM, written by Robert Lawton, which would focus on Russian boxer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), and his son Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu).

Creed III saw franchise actor Michael B. Jordan return as Adonis Creed as well as making his directorial debut. The film marks his face-off with his long-time friend Damian Anderson who is back after being released from prison.
