Yami Gautam, who has had a great 2023, is gearing up for the first release of the year, Article 370. The makers recently unveiled the action-packed and impactful trailer of the political action thriller, which also stars Priyamani in a key role. Followed by the special status which was revoked under Article 370, the upcoming actioner traces the consequences and the impact of this with Yami essaying the role of an agent.

It is well known that On 5 August 2019, the Government of India revoked the special status, or autonomy, granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir—a region administered by India as a state which consists of the larger part of Kashmir which has been the subject of dispute among India, Pakistan, and China since. Considering that the actress has done extensive research and hence it is also something that is close to her heart, she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise the operation Article 370 on social media and wrote, "It was truly one of the most incredible operations where so many different agencies came together to pull off an impossible task that changed the destiny of Indian, that too without anyone getting wind of it. Excited to show our audiences the events that you have mentioned and a lot more in our film, especially the bold actions taken by the lady NIA officer! ????????????????#Article370"

Speaking about the film, Yami Gautam plays an intelligence officer navigating the intricate web of political intrigue and national security. The film marks the first action film of her career. The film is expected to showcase a strong blend of content and a sense of patriotism as it promises to leave a mark on the hearts of the masses.. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of true events, promising audiences a riveting and powerful cinematic experience.

The film, directed by Aaditya Suhas Jambhale also features Priyamani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth Shah, Raj Zutshi, Sumit Kaul, Raj Arjun, Asit Gopinath Redij, Ashwani Kumar, Irawati Harshe Mayadev, among others. Co-produced by Yami’s husband Aditya Dhar, it is scheduled for release on February 23, 2024.
