The makers unveiled the film’s striking character posters of Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi, further heightening anticipation for the trailer, which drops soon. Both posters capture the emotional intensity and ideological conflict at the heart of the story.

Yami Gautam’s poster showcases a woman standing firm in her beliefs, accompanied by the tagline, “She stood up when silence was easier.” Her character embodies the spirit of resilience and justice — a woman who refuses to be silenced. On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi’s poster offers a contrasting yet complementary perspective, with the line, “He fought when truth was inconvenient,” portraying him as a man torn between law, faith, and conscience.

Together, the visuals encapsulate the film’s core theme — two individuals on opposing sides of a courtroom, united by a shared fight for justice.

Directed by Suparn Varma, Haq brings together this ensemble of Emraan and Yami together for the first time and it reflects both intensity as well as depth. The film tells the story of a courageous woman challenging deeply rooted social norms, while a sharp-minded lawyer — played by Emraan — grapples with questions of morality, belief, and truth.

A collaboration between Junglee Pictures, Insomnia Films, and Baweja Studios, Haq continues the studio’s legacy of creating cinema that sparks conversation.

With its trailer arriving soon and its theatrical release slated for November 7, 2025, Haq aims at being the dark horse of 2025, ready to reignite a national dialogue about justice, equality, and the boundaries between faith and law.
