WOW! Amitabh Bachchan to be back on TV hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 9

Everyone's beloved game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, is all set on making a return to prime time televison with a new season. And yes, everyone's favourite Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting the ninth season of the show.

Confirming the same veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan made the announcement on his blog with a few of the pictures from the promo shoot. He wrote, "KBC .. has gracefully agreed to reappear and in doing so has coerced me into recording the Registration Questions for the contest to be on air by August-September .. !! This year !!"

Speaking about the show, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "KBC .. the winner from its beginnings .. to me at least .. to mingle with them that come with ambition and desire .. with hope and will .. with the dream of its true coming .. and of course the ultimate desire of spending those hours at the Hot Seat, with complete strangers .. who by the time it ends become your dearest friends .. May the fruits of friendships grow .. may the winner be ecstatic .. may he or she be deserving .. and above all, may the wishes of they that come, be delivered in a bounty .."

The shoot for the same will begin in August. According to the reports, Amitabh Bachchan has given the makers 17 days from his schedule (10 days in August, and 7 days in September).

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is shooting for 102 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor. Soon, he will start work on Thugs of Hindostan which also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
