Yeh kya ho raha hai! If Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta arriving in a horde in the month of September was not enough then there is more. Now Sridevi too has joined the fray and would be making her comeback with English Vinglish. Touted to be the 'mother of all comebacks', Sridevi's film is poised to change plans for quite a few other heroines out there.

"There are only four Fridays in September and even they were getting overcrowded with heroine driven films like Raaz 3, Ishkq In Paris, Aiyya and of course Heroine. Industry bigwigs were already wondering whether audience would be ready to watch leading ladies drive the show week after week. However, with announcement being made by the makers of English Vinglish to arrive in September, it is bound to worry many a filmmaker. Someone somewhere out there would have to change the release plans now", says an insider.

For the fans and followers of Sridevi though, this is good news indeed because the lady was missed from the big screen for quite some time now. Since the film is being much awaited in any case, its release announcement has come as a pleasant surprise.

"Let's not forget that she decided to quit when she was at the top. Now that she is making her comeback, it is going to be huge indeed. The film is carrying very good reports and since it is a light hearted entertainer with ton loads of humour in it, those who have loved Sridevi's comedy in the past are bound to grab the film with both hands", says a source.

On the other hand, Raaz 3 and Heroine are out and out dramatic affairs. However, since former is complete and latter is also set to reach the finishing line, there are no chances for them to move any further.

"Even Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji are sure about arriving in September only. However with someone as senior as Sridevi announcing her plans, there may be some re-calculations required", informs a trade insider.

With Manisha Koirala too ready to make her comeback with the sequel to Bhoot, one just wonders whether even she would be singing 'Come September'. If that happens, expect history to be created!
