Well, we are indeed talking about the dynamic duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, who came ‘face-to-face’ with each other at the much talked about ‘India Today Unforgettables’. Readers may recall that even though Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor may not have come together in any film, the chemistry between the two was to be seen in order to be believed.

The suave Ranbir Kapoor started off his interview with Amitabh Bachchan (‘Amit uncle’, as he fondly calls him) by confessing that he has never looked into his eyes and spoken to him, because it “scared the shit out of him”. Ranbir Kapoor recalled his three most memorable memories of Amitabh Bachchan. Ranbir said that he remembered having seen Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Ajooba (which also starred his father Rishi Kapoor), Amitabh Bachchan calling him to wish on his birthday and his ‘on-the-sets’ experience of having worked as an Assistant Director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black.

The impeccable duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan spoke about an array of topics ranging from the meaning of masala films, the importance of body language and having a website/ blog, the reason why Amitabh Bachchan regretted about taking a break (sabbatical), the definition of ego and many such topics under the sun.
