The highly awaited Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom is just a few days away from its release and has created quite a buzz. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the film since the trailer was released. Akshay Kumar portrays the character of a Navy officer Rustom Pavri in the film.

Recently, Akshay Kumar shared behind a scenes video of the time when the team shot on an actual warship and wrote, "While there were many memorable moments during the shoot, this one definitely stands out 4 me, watch #RustomOnWarship." The scenes shot on the warship looked quite intense. In the package, Akshay thanked the Navy officers who gave them permission to shoot on their ship. He said that he had respect for the officers who stay on the ships for five-six months and do a great job. Lastly, he added that it was a great opportunity for the film unit and they had a memorable time.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom will present a story inspired from real life incident that took place in 1959 that changed the face of Indian justice system. The film also stars Ileana D'cruz and Esha Gupta and will hit the theatres on August 12.
