Earlier this month, we had reported how Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli visited Vrindavan to seek blessings of the Lord before the cricketer played the ODI against Sri Lanka. And recently, the star sportsman of the country was seen visiting another spiritual location in India, Rishikesh. The couple visited the famous Swami Dayanand Ashram in the North Indian town and photos of their trip have found its way on social media.

Some readers may be aware that Virat Kohli will be soon be seen playing for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, from February 9 in Nagpur. His first match is expected to be against Australia. The cricketer is currently resting before taking off for the series of matches along with other colleagues like K L Rahul and Rohit Sharma. It seems like the cricketer has once again decided to seek the Lord’s blessings for the upcoming matches. A photo of Virat and his wife Anushka Sharma found its way on social media as many of their fan clubs spotted them at the Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh.

Many fans also claim that Kohli has been taking Lord’s blessings before matchings, referring to his Vrindavan visit, right before his match against Sri Lanka. On the other hand, talking about the work commitments of Anushka Sharma, the actress will next be seen as the leading lady in the Chakda Xpress.

Interestingly, the producer-actress too will be seen in the role of a female cricket player in this sports biopic that is based on the life of real-life player Jhulan Goswami. Directed by Prosit Roy, the film is produced under her own banner Clean Slate Productions and it is expected to release this year. However, the release date is yet to be announced.
