As he makes waves with his versatile performances, Vijay reflects on this remarkable journey and the overwhelming response he has received.

Readers would be aware that the recently released web-series IC814: The Kandahar Hijack is based on true events, As Vijay Varma continues to reel in happiness with appreciation coming his way from audiences and critics, he decided to share the transition of roles as he puts on multiple characters simultaneously. “It’s overwhelming and humbling to see the positive response to IC814. The shift from Bharat Tyagi to Captain Devi Sharan feels surreal and rewarding. It’s not just about the roles; it’s about growth and evolution with every character. Captain Devi Sharan challenged me and pushed my limits, and I’m grateful that it has connected so deeply with the audience and critics alike,” said Varma.

Speaking about his recent release IC814: The Kandahar Hijack, the web-series not only features Vijay in a key role but also boasts of an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah, Dia Mirza, Arvind Swamy among others along with Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Patralekha, and others playing key roles. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the web-series premiered on Netflix on August 29.
