Katrina Kaif, who will soon be seen on the big screen in the highly anticipated film Merry Christmas, received a heartfelt commendation from her co-star, Jawan actor Vijay Sethupathi. Known for his versatile performances, Sethupathi graciously expressed his admiration for Kaif's exceptional acting skills and unparalleled professionalism on the film set when they attended the press conference for the film together.

The conference was held as the actors unveiled the romantic track of their upcoming film, ‘Nazar Teri Toofan’, which focuses on the enchanting chemistry between the lead actors. During the same, Vijay Sethupathi was seen praising Katrina’s acting skills and professionalism, as he said, "I was amazed by Katrina’s dedication and hard work. She is a thorough professional and a great actor. It was a pleasure working with her." Coming to the song, this melodious piece is composed by renowned composer Pritam Chakraborty and penned by lyricist Varun Grover, with soulful vocals given by popular singer Papon. Notable for being Katrina’s Tamil debut, the film also marks the Tamil debuts of director Sriram Raghavan and music composer Pritam.

Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan, will be released in both Hindi and Tamil on January 12, 2024. In the Hindi version, the cast boasts of Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kazmi, Tinnu Anand, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, the Tamil version will showcase a stellar ensemble albeit with a few modifications. While Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying the lead roles, they will be joined by Radhika Sarathkumar, Gayathrie, Shanmugarajan, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams, creating a dynamic and diverse on-screen presence.
