Owing to the lockdown in the country, several popular shows from the 90s are re-telecast on DD National. Among them is Ramayan which was the most popular television show back in the 90s. Even today, the mythological show is gaining maximum viewership.

On Wednesday's episode, it was seen that Meghnad (played by now the now late Vijay Arora) attacks Lakshman (Sunil Lahri). Meghnad is the son of Raavan. Lakshman gets injured and on 'Vaidya ji's' (doctor) suggestion, Hanuman gets 'Sanjivani booti' to cure Lakshman. However, it seems Meghnad's character has impressed Twitterati who are all praise for the character.

Actor Vijay Arora is not only popular for his role in Ramayan. He was seen opposite Zeenat Aman in the popular film Yaadon Ki Baaraat. The actor dressed in black blazer and pants with actress Zeenat Aman in the song 'Chura Liya' is none other than Vijay Arora. He had a chocolate boy image and enjoyed a lot of female fan following.

Long before Ramayan, Vijay Arora made his acting debut with the 1972 film Rockstar. However, he got recognition only with the film Yaadon Ki Baaraat. Though his acting career did not last long, he worked with several A-list actresses of that era including Asha Parekh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bhaduri and others.
