Many would be aware that Vidyut Jammwal kicked off his acting career in the movie industry with South films. In a recent interview with Baradwaj Rangan, the actor was seen appreciating the industry and the megastar of the South Cinema, Rajinikanth and addressed him as a true martial artist and it seems that Vidyut, along with his own fans, also won the hearts of Rajini fans, who appreciated the actor’s words of praise for their Thalaiva.

In the said interview, as the discussion veered towards martial artists who had turned actors in the Indian film industry, Vidyut Jammwal mentioned the name of Rajinikanth. Further, when the interviewer said that Rajinikanth was not a trained martial artist, Vidyut was quick to point out, “He may not have been professionally trained as a martial artist, but the way he moves and does things shows that a lot of hours have been invested in developing the skill. Hence, he is a true martial artist without a degree.” The Commando actor further opened up about his admiration towards Thalaiva as he went on to add, “He started his career in cinema playing an antagonist and his journey so far has been incredible. I haven't been fortunate to meet him personally as yet. He is a happy man and wherever he goes, he spreads happiness.”

When the interview surfaced online, many of Rajini’s fans have applauded Vidyut for sharing his insight on the megastar as well as for turning his fanboy during this interaction. While Vidyut is known for the way he presents action in his films and how his adrenaline-packed stunts are choreographed and mounted, Rajinikanth too is known for action avatar as the megastar continues to earn fans for his style and swagger which continue to remain unmatched until today, among his die-hard fans and devotees.

Speaking of other professional commitments, Vidyut Jammwal will next be seen in the sports-based film Crakk, a one-of-a-kind film that will be a first for Indian screens.
