Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has once again captured the attention of fans and media alike, this time for his adoration for his wife, Katrina Kaif, in a heartwarming gesture.
In a recent segment with GQ titled "Things Vicky Kaushal Can't Live Without," the actor revealed a deeply personal aspect of his life: his phone wallpaper. As he delved into the significance of smartphones in modern life, Vicky shared a glimpse of his own digital world, which prominently features a childhood picture of his beloved wife, Katrina Kaif.
During the segment, Vicky expressed the ubiquitous presence of phones in contemporary society, stating, “Your day (starts) with this (phone) and ends with this, and yeah, it's always with you. We're just living in times where you can't think of life without a phone.” With a sense of affection and pride, he revealed his phone wallpaper to the audience, igniting a flurry of reactions across social media platforms. The picture, capturing Katrina Kaif's childhood, quickly spread across the internet like wildfire. In the snapshot, Katrina, sporting two ponytails, beamed with joy.
For the unversed, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied knot in December 2021 after dating for 2 years. It was a grand wedding in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. It was a private wedding in the presence of family members with limited friends from the film industry.
On the work front, Vicky will be soon seen in Chhava. The actor had reportedly sustained an arm injury while filming a challenging stunt sequence for Chhava. Vicky portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. Recent reports indicate that the actor will resume shooting for Chhava from March 9, marking his comeback after a brief hiatus due to the injury. The actor is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated project, Love and War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
On the other hand, Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas which released in theatres on January 12, 2024. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also stared Vijay Sethupathi. It was released in Tamil and Hindi.
