During a chat with Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal was asked by a fan about his favorite films of his wife, Katrina Kaif. Without hesitation, he named Singh Is Kinng and Welcome. The Raazi actor shared that he “really enjoyed” the 2008 action-comedy Singh Is Kinng and called the 2007 film Welcome “one of the most brilliant, entertaining films.” Fans loved his picks, as both movies remain fan favorites in Katrina’s filmography.

Vicky Kaushal revealed that he still loves Welcome and often references the film at home. The actor shared that he frequently uses Nana Patekar’s iconic line, “Control Uday, Control,” even with Katrina Kaif. Laughing about it, he said, “Main to kayi baar unko bhi bol deta hu, kabhi kabhi kuch hota hai, ‘Control Uday, Control.’”

Vicky Kaushal, often praised as the ‘ideal husband,’ shared his thoughts on balancing personal and professional life. In the interview, he acknowledged the many roles he juggles—star, son, husband, and performer—while emphasizing that his family remains his top priority. He said, “Main jo hun main apne parivaar ki wajah se hun” (I am who I am because of my family). Vicky credited his home and loved ones as his biggest source of inspiration and motivation, highlighting the importance of staying grounded despite the demands of stardom.

Vicky Kaushal, in response to being labeled the ‘ideal husband,’ humbly stated that there is no fixed concept of being ‘ideal.’ He explained that both he and his wife, Katrina Kaif, are continuously evolving and learning. Vicky added, “We keep evolving, we keep learning, we keep building our relationships. And that’s what we all are doing,” emphasizing the ongoing process of growth and understanding in every relationship.

Vicky Kaushal is also eagerly awaiting the release of Love & War, his first collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The historical drama, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt alongside Vicky, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 20, 2026.
