Varun Dhawan may be busy filming Jug Jugg Jeeyo, but he's making sure his father David Dhawan has a memorable day. Today is the 70th birthday of the filmmaker, director, and producer. Varun devoted an extremely lovely video to his father, who has come to define the comedy genre in more ways than one, on the occasion of senior Dhawan's birthday.

Snippets from all of David Dhawan's comedies are included in the videos. The video includes clips from a variety of films, including Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Coolie No 1, as well as amusing conversations from previous decades. Varun called his father David Dhawan the "King of Comedy" in the video and enumerated his accomplishments throughout the years.

David Dhawan and his son Varun previously collaborated on the film Coolie No 1, which was released earlier this year. While the picture was heavily panned by critics, it was well-received by the actor's ardent followers.
