Speaking of the professional front, the 36-year-old actor recently wrapped up the Kerala schedule of his upcoming action film, tentatively titled VD 18. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani, VD 18 boasts an impressive cast, including Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film promises to be an action-packed venture, and fans eagerly anticipate Varun's portrayal in this upcoming project.
Besides this, readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama had recently reported that Varun will soon reunite with director Shashank Khaitan for the third instalment of the Dulhania franchise. “Varun, Shashank, and Karan Johar have discussed several ideas for Dulhania 3 and have finally locked one. The film is all set to go on floors at the end of 2024 and the makers have begun the hunt for a new actress to play Dulhania with Varun,” a source told us.
Giving updates about the other important aspects of the upcoming film, the source added, “The film will go on floors by the end of 2024 once Varun Dhawan wraps up shooting for his father, David Dhawan's next film produced by Ramesh Taurani.”
