Actresses Vaani Kapoor and Raashii Khanna, who are best friends, embarked on a spiritual journey on Tuesday morning by visiting the revered Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Clad in traditional sarees, both actors were seen deeply engaged in prayer and devotion.

The videos circulating on the internet showed the two actresses participated in the 'Bhasma Aarti,' a ceremony involving offerings of ashes. This special ritual takes place during the auspicious Brahma Muhurta, the pre-dawn period between 4 am and 5:30 am. Seated within the Nandihal section of the temple, Raashii and Vaani participated in the prayers offered during the Bhasma Aarti.

After the ceremony, they spoke to ANI and expressed their joy and spiritual fulfillment. Raashii Khanna called it a “delight” and expressed her hope to return, saying, “I hope Mahakal calls us again.” Vaani Kapoor echoed the sentiment, adding, “It was a great feeling...Jai Mahakal.”

Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor has a packed slate ahead. She awaits the release of the action-comedy Khel Khel Mein, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, and Ammy Virk. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, and several others.

She is also set to headline the coming-of-age drama-comedy Badtameez Gill. This film, set in both Bareilly, India, and London, explores the story of a young woman and her family. Directed by Navjot Gulati, the project is produced by a team including Nickky Bhagnani, Viicky Bhagnani, and others. Kapoor is also slated to appear in the sequel Raid 2 with Ajay Devgn and Mandala Murders on Netflix.
