On Tuesday evening, actor Triptii Dimri and businessman Sam Merchant were seen having dinner at Pali Bhavan in Mumbai. Despite arriving and leaving the venue together, the duo did not pose for photos together, maintaining a low profile. Triptii opted for a casual look, wearing a white vest under a matching shirt, olive green pants, and sneakers. She posed solo for the paparazzi, waving at them as she entered and exited the restaurant alone. Sam, dressed in an olive-green shirt and denims, laughed and folded his hands for the cameras before getting into his car.

Relationship rumours and past connections
Triptii Dimri was previously linked to Karnesh Ssharma, actor Anushka Sharma's brother. Reports from December 2022 suggested that Triptii and Karnesh had parted ways. Since then, rumours of her dating Sam Merchant have been circulating. The couple's recent dinner date adds to the speculation, although they have not officially confirmed their relationship.

Triptii Dimri starred in the romantic comedy-drama Bad Newz alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film also featured Neha Dhupia and was released in theatres on July 19.

Triptii has been a part of acclaimed films like Laila Majnu, Bulbbul, Qala, and Animal. She also has Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao in her pipeline. Next, she will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 opposite Kartik Aaryan.
