Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan who was recently riding high on the success of Jawan, in an interview opened up on his inaugural pay cheque while employed at a Pankaj Udhas concert.
In a throwback interview with PTI, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he earned his inaugural pay cheque, a modest sum of Rs 50, as an usher at a Pankaj Udhas concert. This initial income played a pivotal role in Khan's journey, as he used the earnings to embark on a memorable trip to Agra. During this excursion, the budding actor seized the opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal.
Moreover, Pankaj Udhas played a significant part in introducing actor John Abraham to the world of Bollywood. Abraham, who later became a prominent face in the film industry, owes part of his early exposure to the ghazal maestro. Udhas's multifaceted impact on the entertainment realm encompasses not only enchanting musical creations but also serving as a platform for emerging talents.
On the film front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Atlee’s Jawan. In addition to this, Shah Rukh Khan also delighted his fans with a teaser of his upcoming film Dunki on his birthday. Besides him, it also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. During the fan meet-and-greet event, Shah Rukh asserted that 2 more teasers are scheduled to be released. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is set to release in December 2023.
