Actress Tanushree Dutta recently took a trip to Varanasi and visited the holy Ganga. She shared a video of herself taking a dip in the river on Instagram. In the video, Tanushree can be seen dressed in a white kurta and a maroon dupatta. She is seen offering her prayers and then taking a dip in the river.

Some fans have praised Tanushree for her devotion, while others have expressed concern about the pollution in the Ganga.
One fan commented, "Dead bodies are found at Manikarnika Ghat.. Why did you take bath there." Responding to the comment, Dutta said, “It doesn't matter, I took a shower after I returned to my room. It's a ritual and Ganga in my experience is a supernatural river. I felt it's energy. I know now why saints and sages live here and bathe every morning before their prayers all life. Nobody falls sick and somehow it all works out well. Somethings are just beyond science and have to be viewed with the lens of faith to experience the full magic of it.”

The same user, in a separate comment, wrote, “Those who don't fall sick they are habitual bathers n r uzed to it but that does not mean that nothing will happen despite taking dip in the most polluted river of India.” Tanushree did not shy away from dropping a response.
Tanushree responded to the comments by saying that she took a shower after she returned to her room. She also said that she believes the Ganga is a supernatural river and that she felt its energy while she was bathing.
