Actress Tamannaah Bhatia started her Tuesday on a spiritual note by visiting the world-famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The actress, known for her versatile roles in Indian cinema, arrived at the temple in the early hours of May 12, 2026, to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal.
Dressed in a traditional vibrant red saree with her hair tied in a neat bun, Tamannaah was seen fully immersed in the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. She was accompanied by producer Pragya Kapoor and a few close friends. The group participated in the legendary Bhasma Aarti, a sacred ritual performed daily at 4:00 AM, which is unique to this Jyotirlinga.
The actress spent nearly two hours in the Nandi Hall, sitting alongside other devotees, where she appeared deeply moved by the chanting and the rituals. Speaking to the media after her darshan, Tamannaah expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to visit the shrine. "I feel very blessed to be here. They say you can only visit this place when the divine summons arrives. 1 Today, having received the opportunity to witness the 'Bhasma Aarti', it was truly profound to experience such a collective surge of spiritual energy," 2 she told ANI.

She recently made waves at the Mumbai Comic Con alongside Sidharth Malhotra to launch the comic for their upcoming film, Vvan – Force of the Forrest. The movie, a mythical thriller set in the forests of central India, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, scheduled to hit theaters on August 28, 2026.
