Actress Tamannaah Bhatia shared that she would love to portray the late star Sridevi on screen, describing her as “super iconic.” When asked if she would take on a style icon role, Tamannaah, who was the muse for the label Bloni at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, mentioned the name of the legendary actress, who tragically passed away in 2018 due to an accidental drowning.

“It would be Sridevi, ma’am. I think she was super iconic, and she’s someone I have always admired,” Tamannaah told IANS.
Sridevi shattered stereotypes with her remarkable versatility, playing a wide variety of roles across different genres, from comedy to drama.
Regarded as the "first female superstar" of Indian cinema, Sridevi made her mark in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Her illustrious career, which spanned over 50 years, covered a wide variety of genres. Some of her most memorable films include Mr. India, Sadma, Himmatwala, Khuda Gawah, Laadla, Judaai, and English Vinglish, among many others.
Sridevi's last film was Mom, a crime thriller released in 2017. She portrayed a vigilante who embarks on a quest to avenge her stepdaughter.

Tamannaah was last seen in the heist thriller Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film also starred Jimmy Sheirgill, Avinash Tiwary, Rajeev Mehta, and Divya Dutta.
Tamannaah will next appear in the Telugu supernatural thriller Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi. The film features Tamannaah, Hebah Patel, and Vasishta N. Simha in lead roles, alongside Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy.
The upcoming film Odela 2 is a sequel to Odela Railway Station, which is based on real incidents that took place in Odela village, Telangana. The first film featured Hebah Patel, Pujita Ponnada, Vasishta N. Simha, and Sai Ronak.
