Ayushmann Khurrana has notched up another hit with Dream Girl 2, crossing the coveted ₹100 Crore mark. The film also stars Ananya Panday, Abhishek Banerjee, Paresh Rawal, Anu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, among others. As Ayushmann basks in the success of his latest venture, he also marked his birthday on Thursday. Amidst the flood of well-wishes from fans, his wife and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap penned a heartfelt note for her husband.

On Thursday, Tahira shared a series of endearing photos with Ayushmann. The couple looked charming in ethnic attire as they posed affectionately. Tahira was seen showering her husband with kisses, while Ayushmann sported a beaming smile. Ayushmann donned a stylish black kurta-pyjama, while Tahira looked elegant in a multi-coloured striped saree. In her caption, she expressed her deep affection for Ayushmann, stating that he's the only person for whom she can dance until 4 in the morning. She wrote, “Happy birthday soulmate @ayushmannk love you so much! You are the only one for whom I can dance till 4 in the morning and which we did! Even though my legs were wobbly beyond a point but Basanti didn’t stop!! You bring so much happiness to everyone around you. There is just no one like you! For the unversed, Ayushmann and Tahira's love story began during their college days at Chandigarh's Punjab University, where they met and fell in love. They tied the knot in 2008 and have been together ever since. The couple is admired for their strong bond, and they often express their love and support for each other on social media.

Dream Girl 2 was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in lead roles, while Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Ranjan Raj, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor appear in prominent supporting roles. The film arrived in cinemas on August 25, 2023.
