Besides her films, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is widely known for being one of the fittest celebrities in the industry. In fact, the actress often gives a sneak peek into her workout sessions through social media. Taapsee’s Instagram feed is flooded with numerous images, in which she can be seen hitting the gym. Recently, Pannu revealed that she spent “nearly a lakh” per month on a dietician while calling it a requirement and not a “fancy” thing.

It all happened during her recent conversation with The Lallantop. Taapsee admitted how much she spends on a dietician every month while confessing that she argues with her parents about her spending. The actress asserted, “I'll go home soon, and I know that he’ll scold me for spending so much on a dietician,” in Hindi. As the conversation progressed further, the host asked her exactly how much she’s spending on the services of a dietician. After hesitating for a couple of seconds, Taapsee stated, “Roughly Rs 1 lakh per month.”

Explaining the expense, the Rashmi Rocket actress said, “My diet changes constantly, depending on what film I’m doing, and where I am in my life. After every four or five years, your body also changes. In this profession, most of us need the advice of a professional, to tell us what food is best for us, depending on which city, or which country we’re in. The weather plays a role, local produce plays a role. This is the kind of detail that goes into creating a diet plan.” She concluded by saying, “This is not a fancy expense, this is a requirement.”

Coming to the professional front, the 35-year-old actress was last seen in Blurr. She will be next seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Besides this, she is also gearing up for the sequel of her 2021 release, Haseen Dillruba.
