Swara Bhaskar kicks off pre-wedding festivities with Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet : Bollywood News

A few weeks ago, Swara Bhaskar had announced her court marriage with politician Fahad Ahmed. And now the actress is all set to celebrate their wedding festivities that she kicked off with the Haldi ceremony, followed by Mehendi and Sangeet. Last week, Swara took to social media to give a glimpse of the pre-wedding festivities which kicked off with the ceremony where the bride and groom are to be applied with turmeric paste. However, the couple decided to add another twist it and celebrated it like the festival of Holi.

Swara Bhaskar took to Instagram to share glimpses of her pre wedding festivities with the hashtag #SwaadAnusaar. The actress shared several photos and videos of their Haldi ceremony. In the first post, she had posted a few lovey-dovey pictures from the celebrations saying, “Here’s to celebrating all the colours of life together.” In yet another post, she posted a video which include montages that showed how the bride, groom, their families danced and welcomed the festivities. It also shared glimpses of how other colours like gulaal were also used to add a Holi twist to the Haldi rituals. “A Haldi ceremony that turned into Holi! Welcome to the festivities. #SwaadAnusaar has begun!,” captioned the Veere De Wedding star.

In her Instagram stories, Swara Bhaskar also shared photos and videos from her Mehendi ceremony and Sangeet night. The actress was seen in an orange ethnic wear outfit and also posted a ‘getting ready’ BTS video from her Mehendi ceremony along with another one of her indulging in chaat. On the other hand, Swara only posted a few glimpses of her Sangeet evening which is expected to have featured a Carnatic music performance as well as Qawwali.

Talking about her other wedding functions, the couple, Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmed, are expected to host a grand reception for all their loved ones in Delhi on March 16.
