Sunny Deol is currently shooting for his much-talked about film Gadar 2. The franchise will be returning to the big screen after two decades and the actor will once again don the look of Tara Singh in the forthcoming romantic-action entertainer. Recently, he took to social media to share that he is shooting in Ahmednagar for the film and along with that he shared a quirky video of his interaction with an Ahmednagar resident, a man riding a bullock ride, who did not expect to bump into Deol on the street.

Sunny Deol took to Instagram to share a fun banter with the bullock-cart man, who actually failed to recognize the Bollywood superstar. When the man spotted Deol, he stated, ““Aap Sunny Deol jaise lagte hain (You look like Sunny Deol). Smiling, the actor responded, ““Ha wohi hoon (Yes, I am him).” While the person couldn’t control his surprise, Deol continued, “Mai yahan aaya hun, aapna gaon yaad aa jata hai (I have come here. This place reminds me a lot of my village). Followed by his statement, the man turned fanboy and revealed that he watches a lot of Sunny’s videos and went on to add that he is also a fan of Sunny’s father Dharmendra. “Aapke videos hum dekhte hain, aapke pitaji ke videos bhi dekhte hain (we watch videos of you and your father)” added the fan. Posting the video on Instagram, Sunny captioned it saying, “During Gadar shoot in Ahmednagar <3”.

Talking about the film Gadar 2, it will have Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their role of mother and son from the prequel. While the film will follow the story of the same characters Tara and Sakeena, it is expected to kick off after a major leap of decades. Readers would be aware that the 2001 prequel featured the love story of star struck lovers belonging to India and Pakistan, set against the backdrop of partition in 1947. Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, will release on August 11, 2023.
