They both are extremely fond of her and on the occasion of her birthday, both of them took to their Instagram to wish her. Sunny shared a photograph in an affectionate pose where he can be seen hugging his mother. Sharing it Sunny simply wrote, "Happy birthday Mama.” Sunny posted this picture a day after a video of him with his mother at the airport went viral on social media platforms.

Bobby also shared a post in which he can be seen adorably posing for a selfie with his mother. Sharing the post Bobby wrote, "Happy birthday Maa, love you,” with a couple of heart emojis. The post received much love from several Bollywood celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan who wrote, “Happy birthday aunty,” while Huma Qureshi wrote, “Happy birthday". While others including Bipasha Basu, Chunky Panday, Sharad Kelkar, Darshan Kumar, Seema Khan also sent their wishes.

On the work front, Sunny directed Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which marked the Bollywood debut of his son Karan Deol. While Bobby Deol will be seen in Apne 2 directed by Anil Sharma along with his brother and father Dharmendra.
