On The Kapil Sharma Show streaming on Netflix on Saturday January 3, comedian Sunil Grover took an unmistakable jibe at Jaya Bachchan’s ‘gandi pant’ comment on the paparazzi, when Grover, impersonating Aamir Khan, told a man shooting him, “Pant achchi hai (Your trousers are nice).”
The dig did didn’t go unnoticed. The internet is on fire with comments on Grover’s sly humour.
While Grover refrained from comment, the show’s host Kapil Sharma said, “Sunil does his own thing. There is zero interference from the producers or writers. As far as taking a dig at anyone goes, we don’t name anyone. But if you are smart enough to catch Sunil’s sly subtle humour, you would know whom he is referring to. It is all in good faith. We Indians need to stop taking ourselves so seriously.”
