The platform recently announced the upcoming series’ release date by unveiling a new poster featuring Ananya in a glamorous avatar. In the poster, the actress can be seen striking a graceful pose by sitting atop an opulent suitcase. Soon after Prime Video dropped Ananya’s Call Me Bae poster, it took social media by storm, garnering immense love from fans and Bollywood personalities alike.
Celebrities like Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shraddha Kapoor, Harman Singha, Guneet Monga, Deanne Panday, Kayoze Irani, Vasan Bala, Nakul Mehta, Pulkit Samrat, Karishma Tanna, Rasika Duggal, and Khushi Kapoor, among others, showered heaps of praise on the poster. Suhana Khan took to Instagram to extend her support to Ananya Panday and wrote, “Wowwww,” while Shanaya Kapoor left heart-eye emojis. Shraddha Kapoor expressed, “Bae this is totally YAY!!! Call Me Bae is created by Ishita Moitra and directed by Collin D’Cunha. Besides Ananya Panday, the ensemble cast boasts Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur in key roles. The eight-episode series has been written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. It is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
