The cast of Student Of The Year 2, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria are promoting their film in full swing. The debutante leading ladies are super thrilled to be working with Tiger and vice versa. The one thing that turned a lot of heads in the film apart from the stellar casting and drama packed trailer, was the fashion. The lead trio is seen wearing exclusive clothes that Manish Malhotra designed especially for the film. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria revealed some exciting details about their outfits in the movie. Tiger also ended up admitting that he has no fashion sense!

Student Of The Year 2: Tiger Shroff – “I have zero fashion sense”

When we asked them to talk about their ensembles in the film, they couldn’t stop praising Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, and Punit Malhotra for the exclusive outfits. Tiger started off by saying, “I honestly have zero fashion sense so I’d like to credit it all to Manish sir, Karan sir, and of course out director, Punit Malhotra. The three of them are instrumental in making us look the way we did in Student Of The Year. For me, it’s a very different world altogether, I’ve played a very certain type of character till now in my career and I thought this was a nice break, closer to my age and playing a little fresher me. It was fun exploring this world and I’m still an alien here and I still feel like an outsider but it was fun while it lasted.”

When the debutantes were asked about it, this is what they had to say. Tara said, “I think we’re just so excited because we’re wearing clothes that Manish, Karan and Punit have personally chosen for us and collaborated on. Giving us these fantastic young looks that I don’t think we’ve seen in Hindi films in a very long time. I feel like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and K3G had these kind of clothes. So, we’re definitely bringing back the 90s and early 2000s in a certain way and you will see that when you see the film.” Ananya added, “And it is so cool that Manish did those clothes at that time and now he’s doing our clothes. And yeah, there’s no uniform in this school for sure but it was a lot of fun because we got to dress up. We’ve been styled completely differently, the three of us.”

Student Of The Year 2 releases on May 10 and is helmed by Punit Malhotra. It also has Aditya Seal playing a pivotal role with Dharma Productions producing the second instalment of the franchise, just like the first.
