Renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is marking his 75th birthday today, and his wife, Soni Razdan, and daughter Pooja Bhatt has chosen to celebrate the occasion by sharing glimpses of him from the past.

Soni took to social media to extend her birthday wishes to Mahesh Bhatt, sharing two photos. In the first image, a young Mahesh Bhatt can be seen holding a clapboard, presumably from his early days in the film industry. The second photo from present featured the filmmaker wearing a T-shirt and a hat, flashing a smile for the camera. Alongside these images, Soni wrote a heartfelt message, saying, “Happy 3/4 of a century you… Then and now.”

Mahesh Bhatt's eldest daughter, Pooja Bhatt also shared a heartfelt post wishing father on his birthday along with the caption, “To the man who gave me roots,wings,the courage to stand on my own feet,walk alone & unabashedly be myself..“A real guru,if there is one,frees you from himself.” That was the understanding that UG Krishnamurti instilled in him and what he reinstates to me & countless others day after day.. Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, both veterans in the film industry, have been happily married since 1986. Together, they are parents of two daughters, Alia and Shaheen Bhatt, who have followed in their parents' footsteps with successful careers in the entertainment world. Mahesh Bhatt was earlier married to Lorraine Bright (later changed her name to Kiran Bhatt). After getting married in 1968, they welcomed their daughter Pooja Bhatt four years later. When he and Lorraine split up in the 1970s, Mahesh Bhatt's name was associated with the late actor Parveen Babi.

On the work front, Soni Razdan is all set to grace the silver screen in the upcoming film Pippa, where she will be sharing the screen with talented actors Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur.
