Sonam Kapoor Ahuja pens an emotional note as her son Vayu completes six months : Bollywood News

Sonam Kapoor is currently on a break from the film industry. The actress is enjoying her motherhood phase and also shares about it on social media. In August, the Kapoor girl welcomed her first child with Anand Ahuja, and the couple named him Vayu. While the actress has been sharing glimpses of her little one, recently she posted a photo and video to celebrate the occasion of Vayu turning six months old.

Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to share a photo of her holding Vayu lovingly and in the carousel post, she also added a video of her son playing as he is surrounded by rattle toys. Along with that, she also penned an emotional note, calling motherhood, the ‘best job in the world’. She wrote, “6 months of my Vayu. The best job in the world.. my biggest blessing.. love you my darling boy.. your papa and me couldn’t have asked for more. #6monthsold #6monthspostpartum #vayusparents #everydayphenomenal”. Responding to the post was her husband and father of Vayu, Anand Ahuja posted his comment saying, “pajama partyyyyyyy” and also dropped heart-eye emojis.

Her post also received a lot of love from her family and fraternity friends. Her father and Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, who has always expressed immense pride in turning grandfather, expressed his happiness by dropping heart emojis on the post whereas Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor addressed him as ‘Masis boy’. Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Bipasha Basu, Karisma Kapoor, among a few others also dropped these heart emojis. Kajal Aggarwal also commented on the post saying, “Awww happy 1/2 way to 1! <3 <3”. Adding to it was also Bipasha Basu, who recently turned mother, as she posted, “Awwww God bless the cutie”.

Sonam Kapoor is next expected to feature in a film titled Blind which is an official remake of the 2011 Korean film by the same name. It tells the story of a blind police office in search of a serial killer. Directed by debutant director Shome Makhija, the film also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey.
