A year ago, Sonali Bendre took social media by shock when she announced that she was diagnosed with cancer. She took off to US for completing her treatment and resumed work just a few months ago. Needless to say, the journey has been tough for this actress but she has always empowered the ones around her as well as her social media fans with words of strength. She also received immense support from her family and friends from the fraternity and she has expressed her gratitude towards on more than one occasion.
Sonali Bendre, who aims to inspire others through her tough journey and struggles, reminisced about her journey as she completed one year after she was diagnosed with cancer. She took to Instagram to post about and shared this emotional post where she said, “stay strong through your pain grow flowers from it you have helped me grow flowers out of mine so bloom beautifully dangerously loudly bloom softly however you need just bloom. @rupikaur_ (Milk and Honey) It's been a year... I can't tell you how instrumental YOU ALL have been... Thank you for helping me get through this and for helping me.”
Needless to say her post received loads of best wishes and love from her loved ones including friends like Farah Khan Kunder, Twinkle Khanna, Gayatri Oberoi, and Shweta Bachchan amongst others who appreciated their friends’ strength. As of now, Sonali Bendre has been dedicating a lot of time for people who are suffering from cancer and working towards giving them support and increasing awareness about the disease.
