Amid all the appreciation and accolades coming her way, Sona celebrated her 37th birthday and like every year, her fans expected to see her traveling and exploring new destinations. However, the actress confessed that she was having a working birthday and also revealed that she loved every bit of it.

Sonakshi Sinha, who turned a year older on June 2, Sunday, took to social media on Thursday to share details of her birthday. The actress, who agreed that she loves to travel during this time, also mentioned about spending her birthday on the sets of a film after seven years. Taking to Instagram, Sona shared a series of photos giving her followers a glimpse into the celebration and going by the pics, it seems that her team put together a great bash for the actress.

From having over six birthday cakes to the actress showing her ‘fun’ side with all the balloons around her, Sona shared these photographs with the caption, “I usually take an off from work and travel on my birthdays… but after 7 years i found myself back on set and remembered how amazing it is to spend the day doing what you love!!! Thanks to my amazing team for making it so so special ?? and thanks to everyone who sent me wishes online… your love is appreciated, even if it wasn’t reposted - i was at work u see”.

Speaking about her work commitments, the actress was recently seen in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and later in the Netflix show Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in which she essayed the double role of Rehana and her daughter Fareedan. Coming to her upcoming projects, the actress has the horror film Kakuda with Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem as well as the fantasy drama Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness in the pipeline.
