Sony Entertainment Television is set to expand its fiction lineup with the launch of a new show titled Vashikaranam, which will premiere on March 16, 2026. The show promises to bring a chilling narrative to the small screen, blending elements of mystery, power, and psychological intrigue.
The makers recently unveiled the first teaser of the series, offering audiences a brief yet intriguing glimpse into the eerie world the story inhabits. The teaser has already sparked curiosity among viewers, hinting at a dark and gripping storyline that revolves around control, power, and hidden forces with Snehlata Vasaikar as the central character.
Snehlata will be seen playing Suman, a woman with a commanding aura whose presence ensures that no one dares to challenge her authority. The role is expected to be one of the key highlights of the show, placing a strong female character at the heart of the narrative. Speaking about the project and her character, Snehlata Vasaikar shared, "I have explored many characters across genres, but Vashikaranam has been a completely different experience. My character Suman is layered, powerful, and deeply complex, and portraying her has pushed me to discover new emotional depths within myself as an actor. What makes the show special is how it explores the many shades of a woman's life. I am truly excited that this journey unfolds on Sony Entertainment Television, and I am proud to be part of the Sony Entertainment Television family for the second time."
Apart from Snehlata Vasaikar, the series also features a talented ensemble cast including Milind Dastane, Ujjwal Tathe, Swati Bhingadive, Sharad Gurav, Chandan Jamdade, and Sweta Naik, among others. Together, the actors are expected to bring the intense narrative and supernatural elements of the show to life.

Vashikaranam is produced by Yelkotti Productions OPC Pvt Ltd and directed by Avinash Waghmare. The makers describe the show as a gripping supernatural thriller that aims to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with its layered storytelling and suspense-driven plot.
The series will officially premiere on March 16, 2026 and will air Monday to Friday at 10:15 PM on Sony Entertainment Television. In addition to its television broadcast, the show will also be available for streaming on Sony LIV, allowing viewers to watch the episodes digitally.
With its mix of supernatural themes, strong characters, and suspenseful storytelling, Vashikaranam aims to offer audiences a new addition to the channel’s evolving fiction lineup.
