Sitaare Zameen Par director RS Prasanna calls Aamir Khan “Gem” in a note as trailer releases: “When you succeed, good cinema wins”

The trailer of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par dropped recently, unveiling a heartwarming story filled with joy and laughter. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh and is directed by R.S. Prasanna. Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, the film is slated to hit theatres on June 20, 2025. The trailer has received an overwhelmingly positive reaction across social media and industry circles.

In addition to its established stars, Sitaare Zameen Par will introduce 10 newcomers: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. This move underscores Aamir Khan Productions’ commitment to nurturing new talent and refreshing the cinematic landscape.

The film’s music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma. The film is co-produced by Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka alongside Aamir Khan.
