Introducing a new Marvel legend, Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings brings a new chapter in the MCU that we cannot wait for. Especially after its highly exciting world premiere, which has fans and critics going gaga over its brilliant action sequences, cinematography, and for it simply being one of the best origin stories in a long time. With such phenomenal responses for his MCU debut, the lead actor Simu Liu has his fingers crossed for a second feature, suggesting that Shang Chi hints at a sequel.

Without confirming, Simu Liu hopes that he will be able to return to the MCU. “Certainly I hope to be back. Where we left off in the movie certainly kind of alludes to it. Fingers crossed. Is it too early to say a musical? I’ve always been a bit of a karaoke junkie. You saw a little bit of my talent in the movie, and I think that it bodes for a very exciting future for Shang as one of the first musical heroes in the MCU. I think that you would agree”, he jokingly said in an interview with Radio Times.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, the movie features Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Meng’er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Yuen Wah, Ronny Chieng, Zach Cherry, Dallas Liu, with Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung.
