Celebrities are forever becoming the face of brands and social causes. While Sidharth Malhotra is not new to this, the actor who has been pretty busy recently took time out to appeal to the residents of Delhi to make roads safer by shunning drunk driving and avoiding performing stunts while riding bikes.
Apparently, Sidharth who was in the capital shooting for his next venture Aiyaary decided to join the road safety campaign that was organized by the Delhi Traffic Police at India Gate helping to spread awareness of the dangers of rash driving. In fact, Sidharth took to Instagram as well sharing an image from the safety drive saying, “Full support n power to @delhipoliceofficial for this crucial campaign for #RoadSafety never drink n drive please”.
If that wasn’t enough, the actor also spoke at the safety drive recalling his college days saying that back in the day he too had his share of fun on the road; however he always made it a point to follow the traffic laws. Further talking about safety, Sidharth added that, it is never only about you but also about your friends, family and other people on the road, so keep the spirit of safety alike and be responsible and in control when on the road.
As for his films, Sidharth Malhotra will next be seen sharing screen space with Jacqueline Fernandez in the Raj Nidimoru – Krishna DK directed film A Gentleman. While he is currently shooting for Aiyaary that is being directed by Neeraj Pandey, Sidharth will also be seen in the Ittefaq remake that is directed by Abhay Chopra where he will feature alongside Sonakshi Sinha.
