Actors Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda have completed the Pune schedule of their upcoming film Eetha. The shoot reportedly wrapped earlier this week after an extended filming stint across multiple locations in and around the city. The team had previously completed a major Mumbai schedule, which was underway from late January through February.
To mark the completion of the Pune leg, the cast and crew celebrated on set with a cake-cutting ceremony. Director Laxman Utekar was also present along with members of the production team as the unit wrapped up filming for this portion. A video from the celebration has also been captured on the sets, giving a glimpse of the cheerful wrap moment.
Eetha is said to be a biographical drama inspired by the life of renowned Marathi Tamasha artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar, who is remembered for her contribution to folk theatre and performance art. The film is being produced by Maddock Films, known for backing content-driven projects across genres.
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen essaying the lead role in the film, while Randeep Hooda plays the male lead opposite her. The project has been generating buzz due to its strong subject matter and the pairing of the two actors, who are expected to be seen together in a fresh on-screen dynamic.
With the Pune schedule now completed, the team is expected to move on to the next phase of filming soon. More details regarding the remaining shoot schedule and release timeline are awaited.
