The trailer of Disney+ Hotstar’s Showtime was launched today in a fun-filled event in Mumbai. Producer Karan Johar indulged in a rapid-fire session with the show’s actors. Shriya Saran, who looked quite stunning in her golden outfit, gave candid answers during her rapid fire round.

Shriya Saran, at the very onset, was asked, “What is the sexiest thing about B-Town according to you?” Shriya flashed her lovely smile as she said, “That it has some really good looking and hot people (smiles).”

KJo agreed, “That they are. Do you have any name in mind?” She replied, “I love Shah Rukh Khan.”

At this, Karan quipped, “Who doesn’t love Shah Rukh Khan? And we are in his neighbourhood right now. I think we can feel Shah Rukh Khan’s energy from Mannat coming our way!” The event was held at Taj Lands’ End, located a stone's throw away from SRK’s iconic bungalow.

The rapid fire continued as Karan asked, “Would you do a bad film for a friend?” Shriya answered, “I’ll do a small role or a guest appearance. But a full-fledged role? I’ll find it hard to lie to a friend at that level.”

Next, she was asked, “A myth about Bollywood that you would like to break?” She replied, “They say that it’s unsafe but it’s really safe. I’ve had the best experiences, made the best friends, have had the best conversations and met some lovely people. Like I am meeting you right now!”

The final question was “A rumour that you’d like to spread about yourself.” Shriya Saran repeated what Mouni Roy said when asked the same question, “That I am doing your film!” Karan quipped, “Oh, God! I am already casting my film as I speak.”

Apart from Shriya Saran and Karan Johar, also present at this event were Gaurav Banerjee, Head - Content, Disney+ Hotstar & HSM Entertainment Network, Disney Star, Apoorva Mehta, Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, Vishal Vashishtha, Mihir Desai and Sumit Roy.
